It's a new week...

New week starts tomorrow, Monday May 24th. My goals for the week are as follows:

1) Drink 106 oz (min) of water (no additives-just straight water)

2) get straight out of bed right when the alarm goes off at 6am all work week

3) Mon, Wed, Fri go to the gym during lunch for 30 mins of cycling

4) take my mulit-vitiman and other supplements each morning prior to leaving the house

5) brown bag lunch 4 of the 5 days of work

6) write down what I eat

I'm starting with just six because I need to get back into the swing of setting the goals and following through. Although I am sure I will weigh myself often I am not going to "obsess" over what the scale says. This week I am going to put A LOT of focus on what goes into my body. If I'm smart and ambitious I will write down how I'm feeling when I eat (happy, sad, hungry, not hungry).

  1. Thanks for your comment on my blog, I'm glad to know someone understand. Good luck with your goals this week. You can do it!

  2. That looks like a great week!!! I love that your going to journal how you feel great idea :)

  3. Good luck and don't forget to eat your breakfast.

  4. Looks like good attainable goals. Have a good week!

  5. thanks everyone...not doing too shabby this morning although I've fubbed on couple of things (getting up and exercise)! I've been awake since 530 (alarm goes off at 6) but after feeding the dog at 535 I laid (layed?) on the couch until 620. And I haven't been to the gym yet. BUT I am on my 2nd 32oz of water, brought my lunch, written down everything I ate so far, and took my multivitamins!! Have a great day!

  6. Good luck. If you know you are going to weigh yourself all the time I recommend that you get a scale with body fat % and body water %. This way you don't get as frustrated with the fluctuations. Take a look at the Tanita scales. They are awesome!

  7. I need to do the same thing; thanks for reminding me. It has occurred to me that my boat is going in circles because I don't know what I'm rowing toward.

My first goal: 1.) Set some goals.

Brown bagging is so important. I learned that on my first go-round with Weight Watchers. Unbelievable how many calories (and money) can be spent at lunch.

Have a good week, and check back in with your progress so I can be inspired, OK?

  8. hope you have a great week!

  9. You've been awarded. Stop by my blog to pick it up!

  10. Sounds like some great goals!!
